Tour Historic Central Library
Tour the Central Library, 814 W. Wisconsin Ave., with the Friends. Free tours begin at 11 a.m. each Saturday afternoon in the rotunda. Tour goers receive a coupon for a free book at the end of the tour in the Bookseller Store and Café. To arrange for a special tour call (414) 286-TOUR.

Haunted Central
For two days, Saturday, October 22, sundown (5:57 pm) to 10 p.m. and Sunday, October 23, 1-5 p.m. at the Central Library, 814 W. Wisconsin Ave., we’re turning the library into one giant haunted house for all ages. There will be “haunted-themed” activities throughout. And of course, the main attraction, the truly haunted part, is an actual part of the library no one ever sets foot in. And for good reason. We call it, the Forbidden Fourth Floor. Enter, if you dare!
