Milwaukee – Governor Scott Walker announced Direct Supply’s certification under the WEDC Enterprise Zone Program to earn up to $22.5 million in state income tax credits based on the company’s future job growth and retention of its current workforce.

An employee-owned company, Direct Supply employs approximately 1,100 and plans for the creation of up to 800 full-time employment positions at its campus on the Northwest side of Milwaukee over the next seven years.
The company also employs approximately 100 employee-owners at its Technology & Innovation Center on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in downtown Milwaukee.

The company recently announced plans to build a corporate headquarters building on its campus to house its next 800 employee- owners, and recently received permission from the City of Milwaukee to close a portion of Industrial Road that runs through its campus, to enhance vehicle safety.
