Leaders Unveil New Clinton Policy to Protect and Support Small Businesses
Following Hillary Clinton’s speech in Atlantic City Wednesday on Donald Trump’s failed business record, Rep. Melissa Sargent, small business owner Fred Clark joined Hillary for Wisconsin for a press conference to urge Wisconsinites to support Clinton so that Trump cannot do to Wisconsin as president what he did to Atlantic City as a businessman. At the press conference, the leaders highlighted Trump’s failed record of numerous bankruptcies, stiffed contractors and hundreds of lost jobs, while Trump sought to cash out himself.
In her Atlantic City speech, Clinton decried Trump’s long record of leaving a wake of destruction among small businesses, working families and communities where his companies had a presence, saying that Atlantic City “says everything you need to know about how Donald Trump does business. It’s not about what he can build. It’s about how much he can take.” These Wisconsin leaders contrasted Trump’s dangerous record with Clinton’s vision for an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.
