Fondy’s Spring Market Begins this Saturday

May 7, 2016

fondy-farmers-market-spring-market-saturdays

This Saturday marks the nice and slow beginning to our wonderful Fondy Farmers Market season!

We’ve checked in with our vendors, and while most won’t begin to sell until June, a few are still checking their fields to see if they’ll be able to bring any early-spring vegetables. We do know that you will certainly be able to get your starter plants for your home vegetable and flower gardens this Saturday from Brehmer Produce located in Hartford!

Don’t forget: you can use your Quest Card and your FoodShare benefits for food-producing plants and seeds!  Want to grow your own tomatoes, peppers or greens?  Come to the Fondy Farmers Market and use your benefits for eligible seedlings to get your garden growing!

See you at the Market!
