Sisters 4 Cure Inc. Thursday Night Support Gatherings Open to Public, Special After Work Event at Briggs & Stratton Corporate Auditorium

Residents of the greater Milwaukee area can make plans to enjoy an evening that begins with delectables from Executive Chef Deborah’s deliciously healthy menu, nutrient packed drinks from the Juice Kitchen’s finest offerings, conversations with vendors known to enlighten, soul nurturing music from psalmist Harris and ends with pertinent discussions on health and cancer risk reduction that are lead by experts invested in information access and health equity.

This all takes place on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Briggs and Stratton Corporate Auditorium, 12301 W Wirth Ave.

The social focus is to unwind, share tips on self care, and socialize with other attendees

Enjoy a delicious healthy menu offered by Event Caterer, Executive Chef Deborah.

Be lifted, inspired and educated select vendors and exhibits provided by Milwaukee Black Businesses – improving you and your family from inside out while giving outstanding community service

The educational focus will be lead by Melinda Stolley, PhD, Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer, Center Associate Director Prevention and Control, Medical College Wisconsin, Professor of Medicine, Clinical Psychologist on Health Promotion and Breast Cancer.

Also speaking will be Felicia D. Robertson, MD Aurora Healthcare Family Medicine on HPV and Cervical Cancer and Mark Harris, Milwaukee’s own contemporary gospel artist, will bring anointed healing vibes. Knowledge plus healing equals hope.

This after work social educational event should attended by the general public, cancer survivors, family and friends, faith-based groups along with civic, social, educational, cancer support, Greek and fraternal organizations, cancer care providers, cancer community professionals and related health care and community health providers, and youth organizations

Let us demonstrate mindfulness in our ‘extra’ time, the precious gift that it is, and gratitude for the health, wealth, people, and other blessings we have been gifted with by attending this event and finding out how to break the cycle of cancer in our community.
