May 9, 2015

Maria Hamilton, the mother of Dontre Hamilton, a 31-year-old unarmed black man shot fourteen times for sleeping in a public park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – will be in Washington D.C. this weekend for the Inaugural Million Moms March against police brutality. Upon arriving in Washington D.C. on Friday, May 8th supporters of the Million Moms March will be lobbying on Capitol Hill from 8:00AM – 12:00PM. Following the lobbying, mothers and supporters will gather for an Afternoon Social at the John Marshall Place Park from 1:00PM – 4:00PM.
