A Distracted Driving Awareness Event

This is a Distracted Driving awareness event. Participants in the event will be able use golf cart simulators that demonstrate the affects distracted driving has on motorist.
They will also be able to witness a mock crash, funeral, and court trial.
This event will educate the public on the consequences of distracted driving and the real life impact it has on the individual motorist, their families, and community at large.
Teen-life Coach and Motivational Speaker, Cynthia Williams will share the story of her late son Christopher Allen Williams who was fatally killed in a car crash in 2006 by a distracted driver.
Cynthia is the founder of Love From Afar-the Christopher Williams Foundation Non-Profit organization that aims to turn her son’s tragedy into triumph.
Xzavier Davis Bilbo and his mother Valetta Bradford, distracted driving awareness advocates and founders of the X Foundation a Non-Profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the dangers of distracted driving, will share their story of how a distracted driver hit Xzavier and permanently paralyzed him from the diaphragm down.
There will be a resource fair with multiple organizations who do work with teens in Milwaukee. Representatives from these organizations will be on site to give teens information about college, scholarship, community service, and positive community activities.
