Former Milwaukee County Reserve Judge Russell Stamper Sr., swore in his son, Russell W. Stamper II, as alderman for the 15th district.

Newly elected 15th District Alderman Russell Stamper II took the Oath of Office Tuesday, May 13th in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Oath was administered by his father, Russell Stamper Jr., a Milwaukee County Reserve Judge. Alderman Stamper II, his spouse, Latoya and their son Russell were joined by thirty other family members and friends who celebrated the newest City Council Member.

Stamper narrowly defeated Eyon Biddle in a hard fought contest on April 29th.

In his acceptance speech, Alderman Stamper II proclaimed he is ready to serve all of his constituents. And he looks forward to working on his core campaign issues of neighborhood cleanliness, safety, jobs, and housing.
