Busy programs from the Social Development Commission (SDC) spent the day in a Milwaukee neighborhood.
The programs took part in an Integrated Mobile Monday at the COA Goldin Center at 2320 W. Burleigh.
The free tax preparation service of SDC, Energy Assistance and the Lead Hazard Reduction Assistance programs offered their services at the community center for area residents.
Carol Jan Modas was among local neighbors who participated in the services.
She applied for Energy Assistance to help with her utility bills.
Integrated Mobile Mondays are held at locations in the community to make it easier for residents to get access to SDC programs.
The next event will be held April 7 from 9 am to 3 pm at Greater New Birth Church at 8237 W. Silver Spring Drive on Milwaukee’s Northwest side.
