Bucks to host first-ever Milwaukee ‘Sneaker Summit’ prior to Miami Heat game on March 29

March 1, 2014

Saturday, March 29, is already a day worth circling on the Bucks calendar, as the reigning NBA Champion Miami Heat will make their lone Milwaukee appearance of the season.

But just for kicks, the Bucks are making that date even bigger.

Before LeBron James and Dwyane Wade take the floor, the Bucks will play host to Milwaukee’s first-ever “Sneaker Summit” at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the biggest sneaker convention in the country.

Founded in 2004, “Sneaker Summit” is a traveling convention at which sneaker enthusiasts from all walks of life can gather to buy, sell, trade, browse and discuss everything from rare, vintage and collectible shoes to the latest and most exclusive sneakers, fashions and accessories.

Attendees at the Bucks Sneaker Summit will be invited to bring up to four pairs of their own sneakers to sell or trade at the event, but even casual fans will enjoy this celebration of sneaker culture featuring displays from stores exhibiting the latest fashions and hardcore collectors showcasing today’s most rare and sought-after footwear.

Additionally, all fans in attendance will have the chance to win autographed sneakers from Bucks legends as well as current Bucks players.

The first-ever Milwaukee Sneaker Summit will take place from noon to 3:30 p.m. prior to the Bucks’ 7:30 p.m. tip vs. Miami.

Tickets start at $30 and include admission to both the Sneaker Summit and the Bucks/Heat game.

Fans who already have game tickets can show their ticket at the door to receive admission to the Sneaker Summit for just $10.

For more information on Sneaker Summit or to purchase tickets, log on to www.bucks.com/sneakersummit.

Any local vendors interested in participating in this unique event can contact Sneaker Summit at info@sneakersummit.com.
