“DNT TXT N DRV”
The personal injury law firm of Hupy and Abraham, S.C. is always looking for ways to reduce the number of accidents by educating the public.
On February 4, 2014, the firm had a unique opportunity to educate more than 400 local students at the “Serve2Unite Summit.”
Serve2Unite is an organization that reaches out to inner-city youth to spread a message of peace and compassion while empowering children to set a positive example.
Hupy and Abraham, S.C. sponsored the “Serve2Unite Summit” at Turner Hall to promote safe driving habits to kids at a young age.
Over 100 students signed Hupy and Abraham, S.C.’s “DNT TXT N DRV” pledge on site while many expressed their enthusiasm for the message on camera.
Parents and teachers took home hundreds of additional pledges to be signed at a later date.
Furthermore, hundreds of stickers and T-shirts were distributed to the middle school and high school students to encourage them to spread the message further.
Pardeep Kaleka, whose father was gunned down at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, and Teri Sullivan, founder of Arts@Large, organized the event while Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and other key community supporters attended.
Mayor Barrett addressed the crowd and told the students that they have the power to make Milwaukee a better place to live.
While addressing the crowd, Kaleka expressed his appreciation for Hupy and Abraham S.C.’s involvement and said, “I want to thank Hupy and Abraham, S.C. for being here today. Please sign their pledge not to text and drive.
This is an extremely important message. Please don’t even text and walk!” Hupy and Abraham, S.C. values opportunities to educate the public at events like the “Serve2- Unite Summit.”
The firm has spent over a $500,000 to promote motorcycle awareness and Atty.
Michael Hupy has appeared on live television to educate the public about pedestrian right-of-way laws in a comprehensive effort to reduce the number of accidents and save lives.
