Prospective students are invited to explore Milwaukee Area Technical College’s accelerated associate degree programs at a free open house from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Oak Creek Campus, 6665 S. Howell Ave.
Designed for busy, working adults, MATC’s accelerated programs meet one evening per week in eight-week sessions or are offered entirely online.
Applied knowledge is emphasized and accelerated programs can be completed in three years or less with minimal in class time.
Attendees will meet with program faculty and current students, receive detailed information about specific programs and how they will help students reach career goals, learn about four-year college transfer options, obtain information on financial aid, and can apply for admission for the Spring 2014 semester, which begins Jan. 21.
Attendees who plan to apply for admission should bring a copy of their high school or college transcript.
Credits earned at other colleges may apply to MATC associate degrees.

• IT network specialist (also offered online)
• legal administrative professional
• marketing management (also offered online)
• supervisory management
• liberal arts and sciences (for transfer to four-year college, online only)
