Residents of a Southside Milwaukee neighborhood will learn how to make their homes more energy efficient at a Weatherization and Lead Poisoning Prevention Fair.
Clarke Square Neighborhood and the Social Development Commission will present the free fair Thursday, November 14th from 4:30 to 7 pm at Journey House located at 2110 W. Scott Street.
It will provide resources and workshops on energy and lighting savings tips, the dangers of lead poisoning in homes, and how to maintain a furnace and water heater.
Participants can also learn at the session the eligibility requirements for SDC’s Weatherization Program.
