We Energies serves up new edition of Cookie Book

November 2, 2013

The newest edition of the We Energies Cookie Book soon will be available to customers.

We Energies will begin distributing its popular Cookie Book on Nov. 4 throughout the We Energies service area.

The book also will be available online beginning the same day.

The We Energies Cookie Book dates back to 1928. Customers have enjoyed this holiday tradition for decades, and for the second year in a row, recipes submitted by customers will be featured in the annual book.

Recipes from Wisconsin Energy stockholders also are included.

“Every year, customers share heartwarming stories with us about our Cookie Books, and they share their favorite family recipes as well,” said Gale Klappa, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of We Energies.

“We’re delighted to extend a great tradition that spans ten decades.”

Thirty-five recipes were selected for this year’s book.

Customers whose submissions were not selected are invited to try again next year.

Recipes can be submitted at www.weenergies.com/recipes.

Customers are invited to pick up a free copy of the Cookie Book at more than two dozen distribution centers and two signature events.

The Milwaukee area signature event takes place at Miller Park on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Appleton area signature event takes place the same day at Timber Rattlers Stadium.

A complete list of events is available at www.we-energies.com/recipes.
