2013 Women & Public Policy Luncheon to be held on Oct. 23

October 3, 2013

Join us Wednesday October 23rd for our 2013 Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Michelle Bernard who will be speaking on our theme for the year: Economic Empowerment Through Social Change.

Hurry, you can still join us as a sponsor or buy individual tickets.

Michelle Bernard is a journalist, lawyer, and founder/CEO of the Bernard Center For Women, Politics and Public Policy.

Her work focuses on issues that affect women and girls including barriers to women succeeding economically.

Why focus on women’s economic security?

Women are still over represented in poverty, women still earn less than men, women are still underrepresented in leadership positions.

Need we say more? Let’s join together and use our collective and significant philanthropic power and influence to affect change.

Event will be held at the Potawatomi Expo Center, located at 1721 W. Canal Street, Milwaukee.

The doors open at 11:30 am and the program begins at noon- 1:30 pm. For individual tickets, tables, register online at www.womensfundmke.org or call 414/290-7350.
