Seniors may be eligible for benefits that can help them live independently in their retirement. But knowing what they are eligible for and how to access it can be a challenge.
The Social Development Commission offers the Senior Benefit Enrollment Service to help seniors whose gross monthly income is below $2,027 (or $2,650 for couples) to enroll them for benefits to which they are entitled.
These benefit programs can include the Medicare Savings Program, Medicare Extra Help Part D, Medicaid, Energy Assistance, and Wisconsin Food Share.
