January 19, 2013

Attorney Michael F. Hupy was recognized at the Center for Teaching Entrepreneurship (CTE) Harvest of Hope Dinner in December, 2012 at Marquette University. An honorary service award was bestowed upon Attorney Hupy in recognition of his seventeen years of service on the CTE Board of Directors, his leadership in recent years as CTE Board president, and for his stewardship and involvement in the community.

As board member and past president of CTE, Attorney Hupy has helped empower thousands of local youth with the education and mindset to take ownership of their future. CTE offers a variety of programs that promote business and life skills to Milwaukee youth. Its mission is to research, develop, implement, and advocate for programs that utilize the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and promote financial and personal responsibility.

Douglas Kelley, president of the CTE Board, presented the award to Attorney Hupy. “We would like to thank Attorney Hupy for his legacy of leadership and highest standards of service to CTE. He will always be known as a lifelong friend to the organization. He has touched all of us and empowered many young people. We thank you for your hard work and dedication to CTE.”

Hupy and Abraham , S.C. was a sponsor of the 21st Annual Harvest of Hope Dinner which recognized CTE participants. CTE serves over 1000 youth annually. 100 percent of program participants complete high school. 80 percent go on to pursue higher education and 93 percent are employed. At the dinner Attorney Hupy announced that after seventeen years of service, this would be his last year serving on the board and made a private donation to continue to empower thousands of Milwaukee youth.
