Not earning a high school diploma can present major challenges for youth seeking to build a positive future. The Youth Employment Program of the Social Development Commission (SDC) is helping young high school dropouts get back on the road to success. The program is designed for income-eligible Milwaukee County youth between the ages of 18 and 21. The SDC Youth Employment Program helps enrolled youth earn their GED and gain employment and job readiness skills as well as provide paid work experience.
