Families looking to enroll their three to five year olds in a free, high quality preschool program will be provided two opportunities to do so. The Head Start program coordinated by the Social Development Commission (SDC) in Milwaukee County is offering two Open Enrollment and Health Fairs.
The first will be held Tuesday, August 21 from 8:30 am to 3pm at Northcott’s 6th Street Head Start site at 2460 N. 6th Street. The second will be held Thursday, August 23 at the SDC West Allis site at 6682 W. Greenfield Avenue.
Families will be able at the fairs to sign up their children for the coming school year and get free health services for their children including health and dental exams, screenings, and a blood test for lead exposure.
