Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department reminds the community that Alexis Patterson is not forgotten

May 12, 2012

May 3, 2012 marked the 10th year anniversary that Alexis Patterson went missing. To commemorate the incident, and to remind the community that she is not forgotten, the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department placed a wreath outside the school where she was last seen. Sheriff David Clarke released the following statement: “We have reached the sad, ten-year milestone since Alexis was last seen. Our community has not forgotten. The search must continue for new information to satisfy the questions surrounding the events of May 3, 2002. “My prayers go out to those who love her.” Pictured above are: Inspector Edward Bailey, Lt. Hodel, and Pastor John McVicker of Christ The King Baptist Church offering remarks and a prayer. (Photo provided by The Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department)
