Potawatomi Bingo Casino to hold Spring Food and Beverage Job Fair

March 24, 2012

Potawatomi Bingo Casino will host a Food and Beverage Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, and from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 2. The job fair is open to the public and will be held at Potawatomi Bingo Casino’s Woodland Dreams Ballroom, 1721 W. Canal Street.

The Casino will hire for more than 100 food and beverage positions, including cooks, dishwashers, bussers, hosts, servers, cocktail servers, bartenders and managers. Food and Beverage hiring managers will be on site to conduct interviews and may extend offers to qualified applicants. Those attending must be at least 18 years old and apply for positions in advance at www.paysbig.com/careers. Additionally, participants must bring a valid photo ID and Social Security Card.

“As one of the largest and busiest food operations in the city, we are always looking to add enthusiastic people to our team,” said Don Sally, food and beverage director. “We not only offer a great place to work, but a great place to learn the industry and advance from within. Applying online and participating in our job fair is the first step in joining our team.”

Food and beverage operations include five restaurants, ranging from casual to up-scale dining, a food court, snack bars, a centrally-located bar, gaming floor beverage service, an employee dining room and a full-service catering department.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino is the largest entertainment destination in the Midwest, welcoming more than six million guests each year, and employing 2,500 hard-working team members, who thrive on the excitement, energy and fast-paced environment of the Casino.

The Casino offers competitive wages and excellent benefits. It supports a healthy and drug-free work environment through background checks and pre-employment drug testing.
