Residents meet with potential employers at a Job Fair held at SDC Richards Street
Employers seeking workers were a popular draw at a recent Job Fair held by the Social Development Commission’s (SDC) W-2 Program.
The Fair was held at the SDC Richards Street facility and provided a chance for local residents to talk with businesses looking to hire new staff. Those employers included TCF Bank, Running Rebels, Clean Power, FIS, SWITS, Med Group Home Health Care, Homes for Independent Living, and Manpower. They were looking for people to fill a wide range of different types of positions.
The Job Fair was the latest in a series of such opportunities that SDC’s W-2 Program provides for program participants and area residents.
