UNCF held its 27th Annual Walk for Education 3.1 mile walk/run on Saturday, July 16 2011. The race began at 2nd & Wisconsin Avenue and ended at Veterans Park. This annual event has been one of the corner stones of fundraising for the organization. Fun Run & Walk fees were $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 12 and under. Certified Race fees were: $30.00 for adults, and $20.00 for children 12 and under. (Photo by Robert A. Bell)
