Garfield Avenue Blues, Jazz, Gospel & Arts Festival took place this past weekend. Employees from Time Warner Cable worked their booth informing the community on Time Warner services. Andre Ellis took on a fun pose with members of his Dance Company as they enjoyed the festival as well. The festival was founded 14 years ago by local businessman Evertte “Boobie” Moore, Attorney Tom Jacobson, and LaMarr Franklin as a way to show appreciation for their loyal customers. What started out as a one block festival now hosts close to 20,000 people in a five block area in the Halyard Park neighborhood. (Photos by Robert A. Bell)
