Milwaukee County Supervisor Eyon Biddle, Sr. will personally sponsor ten gym memberships to various youth in the 10th District this summer. The one-year gym memberships are part of Supervisor Biddle’s commitment to provide local youth with safe, productive community activities as the school year comes to a close.
“My goal is to keep our young people active and doing positive things in the community,” Supervisor Biddle said. “I am a strong believer that elected leaders have an obligation to make sure our youth are given these types of opportunities.”
The memberships will be valid for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Center, located at 1531 W. Vliet Street in Milwaukee.
“The King Center is a prized jewel of the 10th District,” Supervisor Biddle said. “My predecessor on the County Board, State Representative Elizabeth Coggs, fought to make sure the King Center stayed up and running. I plan to continue that hard work and preserve this community asset for future generations.”
Before his election to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors in April, Biddle made a commitment to young people. His decision to become a sponsor to the youth is in keeping with that commitment.
