The June 30, 2011 deadline for nominating those who have contributed to our community is approaching and Alderman Robert J. Bauman reminds individuals and organizations to submit nominations for those who should be recognized with the Frank P. Zeidler Public Service Award.
Nomination forms are available on the city website (go to http://www.city.milwaukee.gov/ and scroll down the main page to find the form), or by contacting Joanna Polanco (414-286-2366 or jpolan@milwaukee.gov). Anyone can nominate themselves or others, but nominees must be city residents who are not publicly elected officials.
Please submit six copies of the nomination letter (three pages maximum) by June 30, 2011, along with the nominee’s resume and any supporting materials that would help the committee make its selection. Nominations will be announced before August 31 and the award will be presented in September.
