For the past nineteen years, Hupy & Abraham, S.C. has been located in the 100 East Building on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Water Street in downtown Milwaukee. Effective June 1, 2011, the law firm is moving to its new location in the Milwaukee Center, 111 East Kilbourn Avenue, Suite 1100, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
The firm’s staff of about twenty employees were the original tenants occupying space on the 11th floor of the 100 East building. Over the years, as the number of clients grew the Milwaukee staff grew to over sixty people. Because of that growth, employees were eventually located on four separate floors of the building.
To make the operation more efficient and bring the staff closer together, the firm decided to move to new office space that has been designed and built specifically for them. The new location in the Milwaukee Center is home to the Intercontinental Hotel, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and other prominent law firms.
Attorney Hupy attributes the success that has required the move to the services the firm offers and the results they get for their clients. “We handle many cases, from small routine automobile accidents to million and multimillion dollar cases. Some of our clients have gotten settlements of over $20 million”, said Attorney Hupy.
Because of their success, Hupy & Abraham, S.C. has made financial contributions to many programs in Wisconsin and Illinois. The firm has been a long time supporter of programs that promote education, safety and the elimination of hunger. They have given over to $200,000 to educational scholarship programs, fingerprinted over 9,000 children as part of a child safety program, made contributions to Feeding America and provided thousands of holiday meals to needy families in the communities they serve.
