Milwaukee LIHF meeting to be held Saturday, April 30th

The Milwaukee LIHF Project will be holding a Plenary Session on Saturday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center (1531 W. Vliet Street). This public event will be an opportunity to learn about the emerging strategies to improve healthy birth outcomes for African-Americans in Milwaukee. At the event, participants will:

  • Learn about the overriding vision to reduce infant mortality
  • Hear emerging strategies being developed to address the issue
  • Have an opportunity to give feedback on these early strategies
  • Learn how racism affects coalition building
  • Celebrate accomplishments and enjoy entertainment and food with others in the community
