Local residents who are looking for work got the chance to meet with potential employers at a Mini-Job Fair held by the Social Development Commission’s (SDC) W-2 program.
Job seekers got the chance to get information on work openings, fill out applications and leave a resume for employers who are looking to fill slots. Employers included Milwaukee Police Department, Masterson Personnel, Wells Fargo, Radio Shack, Central Transport and Avon.
The Mini-Job Fair was organized by SDC’s W-2 Program and is the latest in a series of events held across Milwaukee County seeking to link those looking for work with businesses that have openings.
