A fundraiser was recently held at Gene’s Lanes & Lounge in support of Ptosha Davis in her quest to become Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year. The kickoff brunch is the first of many events to help raise money to find a cure and raise awareness. In August of 2009 Ptosha’s daughter Jori Lauren Leflore was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and admitted to Children’s Hospital. Ptosha never left her side throughout her valiant fight. Jori died in February 2010. For more information or to make a donation visit wi.mwoy.llsevent.org/ptoshadavisleflore.
