The 2nd Annual Milwaukee DJ Honors, black-tie dinner takes place Sunday February 27, 2011 at Gene’s Lanes & Lounge, 6315 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The DJ has many responsibilities, they must provide the mood, provide daily inspiration, keep the listeners informed with current affairs and entertainment news and the most important job – to keep the radio and the party hot!
The 2nd Annual Milwaukee DJ Honors celebrates the contributions of the Disc Jockeys in the radio and nightclub industries. Long time radio personailties Darryn “D” De Walt and Terry Love will host the star-studded event.
The 2nd Annual Milwaukee DJ Honors will honor eleven legendary radio, nightclub disc jockeys, Each one of the honorees have been influential, trendsetters and set the standard of the entertainment level in Milwaukee.
2011 Honorees: Andrea Williams, Bailey Coleman, Chris Levy, Dave TJ, Delio The Dude, Earl Stokes, Fresh G (Mike Love), Jerry “Smokin” B, Reggie Brown, Rob Hardy and Sandra Silk.
The night will be highlighted with a no-holds barred roast of the radio veteran Wayne “ Yo Baby” CK. Wayne will have to sit quietly as he suffers the best zingers and wittiest oneliners from some Milwaukee’s funniest entertainers.
The 2nd Annual Milwaukee DJ Honors Roast is a benefit fundraiser for Get Checked or Check Out, Co. A non-profit organization that focuses on health disparities across America. The red carpet, black-tie dinner will truly be a special evening. Event information:
The 2nd Annual Milwaukee DJ Honors will be held on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at Gene’s Lanes & Lounge, 6315 W Fond Du Lac Ave., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The cost is, $45.00 per person and $70 VIP per person (includes VIP seating and a complimentary bottle of wine)
