Happy New Year… I think?

December 31, 2010

We know that our calendar last came from the “Julian Calendar” from Julius Caesar (beginning 45 BC). We know that this calendar was designed by astronomers. This calendar has 365 days that were divided into 12 months along with a leap day which gives it a 365.25 day length.

The present calendar, the “Gregorian Solar Calendar,” by Pope Gregory XIII was officially signed off by him on February 24, 1582. The “findings” presented were that the Julian Calendar was 11 minutes less to the event of the Equinox. This would give a difference of 10 days in the overall year. The Pope stated the equinox was occurring on March 11th and because of the 11 minutes, the days in time, it was moving further away.

The “Equinox” is an event that happens twice a year where the earth’s axis is tilted neither away nor towards the sun.

The Catholics also needed eight (8) days (starting December 25th) to celebrate “The Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord.” Most of you probably have never heard of this feast. As stated in my last article, December 25th was to tie off part of the Saturnalia Festival, to win the pagans over; and because it also gave them eight (8) days to the 1st of January.

This now gave the Catholic Church the perfect opportunity to celebrate all the events of Jesus, such as Easter, at the time the first Council of Nicaea (AD 325) stated it should be celebrated as well as make one religion as desired by the Roman Empire.

The Council of Nicaea wanted to celebrate Easter on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. This would then offer the complete link of Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

Because of Caesar’s calendar, Easter would not have happened as the Council stated thus the need in changing the calendar. Look at the example Calendar below.

Contrary to belief, we are believers of God the Almighty, Jesus, the Kingdom of God, and know of Satan and his followers. Moreover, yes, some believe in science and astronomy. Please understand that God made it all!

However, we have our 1st of the year because of a little manipulation to fit Jesus in, the Sun, Earth, and the Moon relations – I thought the Catholics were of God and not of pagans! Why are we mixing God and religion and fighting, killing each other? Who is truly leading who – God or Man?

I stated Catholics because we branch off of them (most of you).

Yes, we are celebrating a new year – the new year into a pagan world blanketed by lies on the truths of Jesus! Happy New Year!

In Love
