MillerCoors Holiday Lites shows

December 18, 2010

The MillerCoors Holiday Lites shows will run each Fri. and Sat. from 4:40 – 8 p.m., beginning Fri., Dec. 3 and running through Sat., December 18. Shows run every 20 minutes and are included as part of the free Milwaukee Brewery Tours that begin at the Visitor’s Center located at 42nd and State. This year, the tour center will be offering special discounts and giveaways to visitors following the tours. More info. on the Brewery Tours can be found by visiting www.millercoors.com or by calling 414-931-BEER (2337) locally or 800-944-LITE. The Holiday Lites show is one of the largest displays of its kind in the Midwest, with a record 300,000 energy-efficient LED lights that would stretch more than 30 miles if laid out end to end. Lighting up the Miller Valley is a tradition that dates back to the 1950s and was revitalized as part of Miller Brewing Company’s 150th anniversary celebration. This year marks the 6th year since the Lites show was reinstated. This year, MillerCoors is also encouraging visitors to participate in its annual Toys for Tots drive or to donate non-perishable food items for Feeding America when they stop by the Visitor’s Center during the month of December.
