When it comes to Love, we love. Even Satan loves—to turn all of us away from God. However, to my brothers and sisters of Christ, love is not just a word, or a feeling that gives the excitement or tingle to him or her or it.
We have to be careful of our love. So many have been hurt and so many have no clue what love truly is so they give their body, or have sold their soul for something that is not even love at all. Therefore, I want to help you understand the difference in this word “love”.
The first thing I want to present to you is that we are a living soul that is made up in two parts. A body that was formed and a Spirit that was given to us by God’s breath—together making us a living soul. Because of this special creation, we need to understand that in all that we do it is in two parts, including “love.”
The Spiritual love is a feeling. Whoever tells you that love is not a feeling has never birthed a child, or had someone close die. To hear the first cry as it breathes deeply to take a breath to cry again, from a newborn baby would turn any Spirit, except Satan. There is nothing you could do, as every fiber of your Spirit yells out the love that you have for that child.
Or knowing that God has loved you even though you have been disobedient to Him. God’s love is there, no need for Him to do anything, He just does. Or what about seeing that special one for the very first time and knowing deeply that he or she is the one for you. All of these types of love are called Agape.
This type of love is considered God’s type. This type is also in every one of us. To say, “I Agape you.” is really to say, “I will die for you.” Don’t let someone tell you that you need the Holy Ghost to achieve this type of love, because you don’t. Keep in mind that God breathed into you, giving you a soul. Therefore, in you is He who is greater than any other spirit.
For example:
If you have a family and a threat stands before you as your family stands behind you and that threat tells you I am going to kill your family, what would you do? A normal person would say to that threat that it will have to kill you before it could even touch your family. This act or expression is called, Agape.
Across all the different levels, you have the love type that is of friendship, all the way to a love type that you would die for someone. My point to all of this is, when it comes to God we are to Agape God. To die for God, after all did not Jesus die for us? The two greatest commandments are:
Matthew 22:36-40 ( KJV ) 36Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Therefore, to love God is to die for, or to submit all of your heart, soul, and your mind. This means, in Spirit your all is to be towards God as your physical body is to be towards your neighbors with the authority of God. This means, my brothers and sisters of Christ, if we are to truly carry our cross we are to carry it with the love, or Agape, as the children of God, as Christ towards the people called our neighbors.
The reason that our neighborhoods are falling apart is that there is no Agape towards anyone except yourself; Selfish is what it is called. An act that is not Godly or Christian is of Satan. What is it to say we have churches outlining our neighborhoods and the people have nothing to look for? Satan is in the mix of it all. The evidence is what we see. Who is going to make a change? Or are your hearts staying cold?
In Love
