Lincoln Avenue Elementary School unveils newly renovated library
Milwaukee MPS Superintendent Dr. Gregory E. Thornton joins students and principal, Janine Graber at Lincoln Avenue Elementary School during the recent unveiling of the school’s newly renovated library. The renovation was part of the Target School Library Makeovers Program. Lincoln Avenue’s library received a complete transformation including eco-friendly design elements, new technology, lighting, flooring and shelving, customized wall art and murals and 2,000 new books. In addition, each child and their siblings walked away with seven new books to take home and begin their own at-home libraries.
