He was a sinner deep in sin, you know, the kind that would make Satan ashamed. It took half of his life, it took him for a ride down to the depths of Hell, and it took one day from a whisper from the world he could not see with his eyes to say, “Change or I will let you go.”
No details, all sin is sin. No details because he is no different from some of us. The difference is the depth of our “right now” belief. What I mean by this is the following:
When I came to Jesus I have come to learn that He died for my sins and my sins are forgiven.
How? Jesus was beaten and his blood was shed. It is the blood that God sees along with the sacrifice of Jesus being there in the first place that makes him as a symbolic lamb—as the same lamb in Exodus that the Jews used to have death pass them by (Ex. 12).
b. How can your sin be forgiven? God sent His son Jesus making what Jesus did by shedding his blood and dying on the “cross” become God’s Lamb.
i. Romans 10:13 ( KJV ) 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
ii. Let me explain it like this: When the Jews of old had a sin, they took the animal to the high priest. The high priest took the animal and asked that person what was their sin. As they spoke of it the high priest cut the artery of the animal. As they spoke the belief is that sin came out of them and combined with the blood and as it hit the ground, the sin is “forgiven.” It took the animal’s blood and the sacrifice of that life of that animal, by the high priest to take that sin and take it away from them.
Because God gave us Jesus, God being the HIGH PRIEST, Jesus being the “animal” and having his blood shed for us all, when we “call” on Jesus, God forgives our sins.
Born again into the body of Christ through Baptism – Jesus said it in John 3 it’s through the water. However “slavery” comes from those so-called leaders for Christ. What I mean is this:
- When you call on Jesus you are no longer a “sinner” but “righteous”
- When you get baptized you become a “child of God” – a child – not a son, there is a difference.
There are those who keep telling you, “you are not worthy” or “you cannot be perfect as your Father God is perfect (Matthew 5:48).” They who tell you these things are misdirecting and their father is Satan.
Let me say it like this: If you go to bed tonight and you know you have sinned against God and you prayed that God would forgive you through the blood of Jesus – the belief is that God does. When you wake-up, you have not sinned. 10 am comes and you have not sinned against God. The truth is this: from the time that you prayed and God forgave you, to 10 am, you would be considered “perfect.” A babe or a child of God for that short time has not sinned against God; you would be looked upon by God as, a perfect child. Still having lots to learn, but still for that time perfect.
When you say, after going through the blood of Jesus, “I am not worthy.” You just slapped God in His face because HE gave you Jesus and you called out Jesus’ name making God forgive your sins. Half of you don’t even know that when you first called out on Jesus your sins are forgiven, you are perfect in God’s eyes. In fact, let me say this: If Adam did not sin against God by listening to his wife and going against God’s commandments (Gen. 3:17) Adam would still be perfect as God made Adam perfect.
The reason that a lot of you are not growing is because you listen and believe in Satan. It is Satan’s job to keep you enslaved. God created you, God gave you HIS breath, and God has given you full authority by giving you dominion over everything on and in this Earth.
Come let me teach you the strategy of freeing you from this Spiritual and Physical bondage. I ask you to join me for an advanced spiritual Bible Class every Monday, 6:30 pm -until- 8 pm at the Marriott Courtyard in Brown Deer 5200 West Brown Deer Road, Brown Deer, WI. 53223.
You will not be disappointed.
