The National Newspaper Publishers Association held its ‘Power In Leadership’ reception last week in Washington, D.C. during the Congressional Black Caucus Week saluting The Black Press of America and the NNPA Foundation. Leadership Honorees included; Congressional Black Caucus members; Cong. Sheila Jackson Lee, Cong. Lacy Clay and Cong. Charles Rangel, from Civil Rights; Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. Rainbow Coalition, Rev. Al Sharpton, Action Network and Marc Morial, National Urban League.
