Don’t be deceived

September 11, 2010

Series by: Rev. Shone Bagley, Sr. Ordained/M.C.C.

If Jesus came back today, what would you do? I know some would say, “I can’t wait!” However, is the coming of Jesus a good thing right now? To those who have no clue or choose to believe in the deceitful misdirection of the truth from those who have an underlying agenda, or for those who just don’t know, let me lay out a small part of the facts so you can decide if you are ready or not.

The first thing I want to say is that there is a difference from being saved, and having salvation. Again, those who have an agenda would not tell you this…

Saved:
Jesus being God’s lamb is the one who symbolized the lamb at the Passover (Exodus 12 &13). If this is the case, then ask yourself this, “Did God still allow those in the wilderness to die when they made that golden calf?” If Jesus is the lamb then we should have a strong assurance that “death” passes us by. However, what this means is, we who are in sin, instead of us dying within those sins, Jesus allowed “death” to pass us by so we can have a chance to be part of the “body of Christ.”

So the order is us having our sins forgiven, through Jesus’ blood, then to be baptized and Baptism is the water of birthing into the body of Christ. Without Jesus’ blood, we could not have been baptized into the body, because of the sins we had against God. This is the root meaning of being “saved,” and, a lot of you are “saved.” Once saved, always saved; Jesus blood is satisfying for all to go through just once.

Now, after being saved a lot of teachers of God stop because they tend to not understand the truth; for those who do, they tend to not teach you this because they are afraid that they will lose the numbers in their church, which in turn takes the money away and so on…

Salvation: John 4:34 ( KJV ) 34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

No matter if one believes or not, when it comes to the separation of our bodies from Spirit, what we call “death” from this Earth, know that all will be judged one way or another. For those who call themselves the believers, you will be judged by Jesus. For the unbelievers, you will be judged by God Himself. The main point is to know all will be judged.

Jesus states: Matthew 25:41, 45-46 ( KJV ) 41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:… 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

God states: Rev. 20:14,15 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The point is this, no matter who will judge you, there is a standard behind that judgment. When it comes to Jesus it is all about what you do unto the people, His brethren. When it comes to God, our Father, it is also about the people, His children. Still, both having a standard that is called, “works.” The standard is set by God and carried out by Jesus for us to follow after and the end results, being judged, will determine if you go to Heaven or if you go to the Lake of Fire, that was designed for Satan and his followers.

Note:
Revelation 20:12, 15 ( KJV)
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

No matter who you are, you are going to be judged to a standard and within that standard you will either go to the Lake of Fire, or you will go to Heaven; because your name was not or was written in the Book of Life by God. In this is the true “salvation,” the ability to go to spend eternity in Heaven and not to be placed in the Lake of Fire.

Please know, I am not saying that just your works will get you into Heaven, but “faith without works is dead”(James 2:17, 26) meaning ultimately your soul will be dead to God regardless of your belief, because you don’t have the evidence of your works.

So again, are you ready for Jesus to come back? For those who know the truth, they will always say, “No.” because we know there is so much more we need to do, we can do, before we stand before God or Jesus to be judged.

There is so much I want to talk to about when it comes to this subject. My purpose is to teach you the truth, to teach you the strategy of freeing you from this Spiritual and physical bondage.

I ask you to join me for Bible study starting Monday September 27, 2010, 6:30 pm -until- 8 pm at the Marriot Courtyard in Brown Deer 5200 West Brown Deer Road , Brown Deer, Wisconsin 53223.
