YMCA Offering Free Vision Testing, Eye Exams on June 15

June 12, 2010

The YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee’s Community Development Center, in partnership with VSP Mobile Eyes, will be offering eye exams and eye care services at the Northside YMCA, located at 1350 W. North Avenue. On Tuesday, June 15, 2010, the VSP Vision Care’s mobile clinic, VSP Mobile Eyes, will be providing free eye exams to qualified community members.

In order to receive a free eye exam, qualifications to be seen include: must have a social security number, have not used the program for the past 12 months and do not have access to vision insurance, and must be at or below the 200% federal poverty line (information can be found at www.sightforstudents.org).
