Down the street, she walks closer to him… thinking out loud in a whisper to himself… damn. The look overwhelms any thought of the present as he lived a week thinking of all, as she walks by… And as she walks by…he thinks, “cheap, not a whisper of perfume, nothing except the look, I bet she can’t even spell.”
To my sisters out there…
A man looks at every woman that passes, as if God presented you to them. But, as many of you walk by, you walk not as a virtuous woman, but a harlot…. Let me explain:
Out of all of what Proverbs 31 woman is…out of all of what Ruth is…out of most of the women within the bible, they do not present themselves as a harlot. What I mean is, SEX is not the focus. Those who do show off sex would be considered either a “concubine” – someone who’s focus is to entertain the men, from dancing to lovemaking, or a “harlot” – the act of engaging in sexual intercourse or performing other sex acts in exchange for money. Therefore, when a young lady or you show off “what your momma gave ya” you are presenting yourself to all men as a harlot or at the least a concubine.
To the men who are married if they are weak or having problems with their wife, you present yourself. And it is easy for them to lay with you. They pay you “this” and you give them “that.” To the single men… the same… they know you not because you are SEX to them.
Now ladies, I know the 7/3 problem. Meaning to every 3 men there are 7 women that are out there. I know that in your mind you want someone to love you as a virtuous woman. So let me help you…
Sexy was the woman within Proverbs 31 and sexy was the woman in Ruth. Sexy they were, but they did not express their sexiness. There is a difference in knowing versus showing. Those women knew but they did not show… instead they showed “POWER” by wearing silk, and the color purple, which means POWER.
Sexy is reserved for the harlots and concubines but the woman of “virtue” doesn’t show off her body, she is not just covered up either. A harlot wears clothes too… their clothes show off their breasts, their waist, their whole body. Therefore, when you see a harlot you see what you are paying for.
So… what does a “virtuous woman” wear? Let us start from what I believe is the top, the wardrobe of Muslim women. They cover from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. They do this out of respect. Respect because their body is first of God and secondly, to their husband. NOW I am not stating that all women are to dress as they do!!! I just wanted to show you what I think is the top of the list as a virtuous woman.
The second and third are down from that. The point is this: When you dress, you dress because God formed you and God’s hands presented you. Your look did not come from God to be sexy… HELL NO… I would like to think a powerful GOD presented a powerful woman. So when you dress you dress to impress GOD’s power.
Secondly, you dress for your husband. Show him trust, show him love, show him respect just by not showing off. Even if you are not married, to be virtuous to your future husband and to your God starts off by what is presented to them.
There are too many of you ladies to be specific, so let me say this:
You are sexy, but a good man wants sexy only in his sanctuary (house). Outside of his sanctuary he wants a woman he can trust. Part of the trust is, when you step out of his sanctuary do you present yourself as if God presented you to him? If sexy is all you have, then Power you do not have. If power is who you are as your God who created you, then present power as God your Father is POWERFUL. Anything less you curse your sanctuary and you are a curse to God.
Satan wants all you ladies to be a harlot. Because it takes you away from being Power as your creator, your Father, your image, and the Likeness of GOD.
