Pick ‘n Save and the Roundy’s Foundation hosted a Community Fair recently at the 2355 N. 35th St. location in Milwaukee. The fair was designed to support and raise awareness for local organizations dedicated to fighting hunger and advancing literacy. Four Milwaukee organizations shared in the more than $35,000 in grants and gift cards from the Roundy’s Foundation. Agape Community Center, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee Urban League and Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center. The Milwaukee Urban League received $20,000 for its Pathways to College Program, which has a strong literacy component.
