June 4, 2011

Beginning Wednesday, June 1, Downtown Milwaukee Zeidler Union Square, located at 301 W. Michigan Street, was filled with vendors, shoppers, lunch-goers and musicians with the return of downtown’s oldest and largest open-air market, the Westown Farmer’s Market.

Shoppers can enjoy a variety of art, lunch, and prepared food vendors every Wednesday 10am-3pm with the addition of Wisconsingrown seasonal produce as it becomes available throughout the market’s 2011 season, ending October 26th. New vendors include Streetza Pizza, Tigerbite, Sven’s Coffee, Great Harvest Bakery, Martita’s Mixers and Jean’s Cakes among many others. The market also has a full schedule of music and events for patrons to enjoy.
