Milwaukee Area Technical College will hold an International Ethnic Fest at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus Monday-Thursday, March 28-31. Sponsored by MATC’s International Student Organization, English as a Second Language Department, Office of Student Life and Veterans Club, the events are all free and open to the public.
Fair trade vendors will sell ethnic wares on the second floor of the Student Center Monday-Wednesday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. About 120 English as a Second Language students and instructors will form a flag parade representing 65 different countries from 11 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, March 30. This colorful parade will travel from the C-Building to the Main Building to the Student Center and back to the C-Building.
In addition, 20 presentations will be made by international students and MATC instructors about countries from around the world.
