Creating Lasting Families Program
The Social Development Commission (SDC) plans, develops and operates programs to improve the lives of low-income people in Milwaukee. The Facilitator will be responsible for recruiting families from Milwaukee Public Schools for participation in Creating Lasting Families classes. Participation will increase parental involvement in their children’s education and is part of our Youth and Family Development Program. Requirements include a minimum of Associate degree in a human services related area (additional education to an MSW increases pay); two years related experience and/or training; knowledge of community and social service resources; ability to develop and maintain relationships in a multi cultural environment; good communication skills, valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
