Time is of the essence. The most important election of our lifetime is drawing to a close. And now, more than ever, we need you to get involved.
There are already folks voting all over our great state. With expanded Early Vote in Milwaukee, we now have the opportunity to make sure even more voters are able to cast their ballots to make sure we elect Hillary Clinton as our next president.
And while you should early vote — it’s so convenient and simple — that’s not what I’m here to talk to you about. That’s a great start, but we have work to do to make sure our community is organized behind Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ticket including Russ Feingold and Gwen Moore. Cast your ballot and then join me in doing everything we can to get the word out to your family, your friends, and your neighbors about the clear, and fundamental choice in this election.
We need every hand on deck to ensure that Wisconsinites get out and vote for someone who believes we are stronger together — not a candidate who is trying to tear this country apart. We need you to come by and lend a hand to your fellow Democrats. Join me in making calls and knocking on doors. Join me in getting folks to and from the polls between now and Election Day.
You know how high the stakes are. I’ve taken Michelle Obama’s powerful words to heart:
“On Nov. 8, we can show our children that here in America, we reject hatred and fear and in difficult times, we don’t discard our highest ideals. No, we rise up to meet them. We rise up to perfect our union. We rise up to defend our blessings of liberty. We rise up to embody the values of equality and opportunity and sacrifice that have always made this country the greatest nation on Earth.”
“That is who we are. And don’t ever let anyone tell you differently. Hope is important. Hope is important for our young people. And we deserve a President who can see those truths in us — a President who can bring us together and bring out the very best in us. Hillary Clinton will be that President.”
She asked me to get work. She’s asking you to get to work. Will you join us? Visit hillaryclinton.com/GOTV or stop by one of our three offices located on 1857 E Kenilworth Place, 2701 N. Martin Luther King Drive, or 8167 W Brown Deer Road today!
