MEQUON (May 10, 2016) – Milwaukee Area Technical College will hold two three-day “Career Fitness Camps” for 8th to 11th grade students this summer at MATC’s Mequon Campus, 5555 W. Highland Road. Camps will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays, July 19-21, or Aug. 2-4. Interested students should choose a session and register by Wednesday, June 15. The $75 fee is payable on the first day of camp.
Career Fitness Camps are designed to challenge students’ career and physical fitness by combining career planning with fitness activities such as rock climbing and team building. Students will identify, explore and experience careers that match their personal interests.
Day one focuses on career identification and mental and physical fitness. Day two will be devoted to career exploration and hands-on activities. Career experience and company field trips will round out day three. Lunch and a snack will be provided each day.
