Milwaukee resident Shamire Goodwin II has been recognized with the 2009 Hearst Television Eagle Award for sales excellence. An account executive at WISNTV (Channel 12) since 2003, this is the second year in a row Goodwin has earned this prestigious honor.
Hearst Television, the parent company of WISN-TV, honors one sales representative at each of its 29 television stations every year for outstanding sales performance. The Eagle Award goes to individuals who have consistently demonstrated the highest caliber of sales excellence in overall revenue generating performance, new business development and special promotion selling effectiveness.
“Shamire had an outstanding year in 2009, and is very deserving of this prestigious award,” says Pete Monfre, vice president of sales at WISN-TV. “To win it back-to-back speaks volumes about his commitment to being the best at his profession.”
Goodwin is a graduate of Marquette University. He has a young son named Shamire Goodwin III, and currently lives in Milwaukee.
