President Obama will vote early in Chicago on Oct. 25, and that First Lady Michelle Obama casted her Illinois absentee ballot by mail this week. The President and First Lady are making history by voting early in person and by mail in order to promote the ease, convenience, and importance of voting.

With many states now offering voters the opportunity to vote early in person or by mail, the President and First Lady have been encouraging supporters to cast their ballots early, noting the added ease and convenience of voting ahead of Election Day.
“In states around the country, voters can already vote early in person or by mail,” said First Lady Michelle Obama. “It means you don’t have to worry about your schedule filling up, or getting sick, or having to work late on Election Day. And more than anything, it means you can act right now to move our country forward.”
