MADISON – State Representative Jason M. Fields (D-Milwaukee) was selected by the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP) as being a Friend of Family Medicine for his contributions during the 2011-12 legislative session.
The WAFP is committed to improving health care throughout Wisconsin and promoting healthier lives through the advancement of family medicine. The distinction of a 2012 WAFP Friend of Family Medicine is an award given to legislators that have reinforced this mission and illustrated legislative leadership in strengthening patient safety and improving health care delivery.
“I am truly honored by this designation,” stated Rep. Fields. “Improving health care delivery and promoting primary health care services need to be top priorities. I am committed to working towards creating a healthier Wisconsin during my time here in the legislature.”
