The Milwaukee Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, a women’s non-profit organization, Joanne Williamson, president, is having a pre-anniversary luncheon in celebrating of its 50 years of service in the Milwaukee community on June 23, 2012. The affair will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 7065 N. Port Washington Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 11:00 AM until 2:00PM. The chapter is inviting the community to this summer event. The theme is “Á Crown Affair.” Come and show off your favorite dressy or Sunday hat. Tradition has shown that for generations and in all cultures, a woman defines herself by her crown and glory, which is her headdress or hat. A woman is also defined by the style, color, and shape of her hat.
